Meet Jacquelyn
Hello! Welcome to SolFood Collective, where I serve as a Certified Health and Wellness Coach/Vegan Chef . As the founder, I am dedicated to sharing my expertise and experiences to inspire holistic wellness. From hosting online cooking classes to embracing clean eating, practicing yoga, and crafting culinary creations in my kitchen, my journey revolves around nourishing both body and mind. Recognizing the profound connection between mental and physical well-being, I strive to foster balance within individuals' lives. I believe what we feed our mind is equally as important as what we feed our body. When you understand that the mind and body are connected, you can create an environment for the body to live in balance.
Proudly featured on Season 10 of The Great Food Truck Race on the Food Network, my SolFood Collective truck offered a variety of vegan dishes. Since then, I've relocated from Los Angeles to Perrysburg, OH, where I established SolFood Collective Kitchen, continuing my mission to promote vibrant health through plant-based cuisine.
I started my journey in health and wellness after I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis, (a.k.a the bamboo spine) in 2015 and used food as medicine to reverse my symptoms. Before changing my way of eating, my disease progressed, leaving me unable to walk and in need of constant care. After getting my diagnosis and being treated with medications that didn't work, I was told chemotherapy was my future. I decided to take matters into my own hands and adopt a vegan lifestyle. Within 6 months I lowered my inflammation, was able to walk without assistance, got off all medications, sleeping 8+ hours, repaired my gut health, balanced my hormones, lost 40 pounds, and was pain free for the first time in over 20 years. Now, I draw upon my journey to empower others in their pursuit of optimal health.

Specializing in one-on-one holistic support, I tailor strategies to address diverse health challenges, from autoimmune conditions to chronic pain and poor gut health. With a focus on sustainable lifestyle changes, I aim to equip individuals with the tools needed for long-term well-being.

A Health Coach is a support mentor and wellness authority who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, Health Coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs.
